This range of plates is on honour of the richest man to ever walk this earth Mansa Musa who lived in West Africa. The plate has an image of Mansa Musa sitting on his throne holding a sceptre ornamented with a fleur-de-lys and a golden disc. This image was drawn by the cartographer Abraham Cresques. These plates are 11 inches in diameter.
All Attahdesigns plastic plates are dishwasher friendly; however, the ceramic plates are not recommended to be cleaned in a dishwasher, constant washing in the dishwasher may result in the plates losing its distinctive colours over time. When cleaning, Attahdesigns recommends cleaning the ceramic plates by hand in low temperatures and liquid cleaning products; If you choose to warm your food in microwaves this can also cause damage to both your plates and the microwave and is therefore not recommended; Attahdesigns ceramic plates can be heated gradually to a temperature of up to 100°C but they are not suitable to use for cooking.
Your ceramic plates can be used everyday and look as good today as a year from now.
Porcelain and then fine china are the most expensive to produce. The clays are highly refined to remove all the contaminants like iron. Porcelain is kiln fired at even higher kiln temperatures and produces dense, white, chip and scratch resistant dinnerware.
